Provide support for Cisco network equipment in collocation centers for supporting a fully redundant network infrastructure. Also support FreeBSD servers running DJB DNS, Sendmail, Apache and MySQL supporting an E-Commerce business. Support a two-server Call Manager 4 cluster, a Unity 4 server and a Cisco IP Contact Center server running a call center of 20 customer service agents.
Level II Network Administrator - Meridian Joint School District No. 02 October 2001 - November 2004
Provided support for nearly 150 pieces of Cisco WAN/LAN equipment including configuration and troubleshooting of routers, switches, PIX firewalls and wireless devices. Managed a Cisco Voice over IP system encompassing 13 sites and 800 phones. Set up new buildings from configuring the router and switches to configuring phones and setting up voicemail. Managed a Windows 2000 domain with Active Directory supporting two domain controllers running DHCP and DNS servers supporting 40 remote sites, two Cisco Call Managers running SQL Server and a Cisco Unity Messaging server running Exchange. Modified existing Perl script to automate download of weather data files on a daily and hourly basis. Created a Perl script to strip out file headers, format and archive data files for easy search and retrieval by a web interface.
